Water playground Bellheim

2012

Cooperation with young people of the "international workcamp

For a forest playground dating from the 1970s with a non-functioning watercourse, a solution for its use was to be found with minimal financial resources. On behalf of the local community of Bellheim, Naturspur e.V. created an adventure trail in the forest, while at the same time the artist Tanja Lebski redesigned the watercourse.
The idea was to break away from the given paved walls and find a completely new way for the water. Best designed so that children of different ages can have fun pumping the water and splashing around, linger a long time and discover new play opportunities with every aspect of the structure.
The watercourse could be realised in two weeks with the help of 15 young people from different countries of the "international workcamp" initiated by Bellheim.
