The film ‘Handwerkskunst’ (Craftsmanship) was filmed in Altleiningen and Neuwied-Engers.

A phone call... an appointment for a preliminary meeting... and off we went!

The film crew – cameraman, sound engineer and director – of the SWR documentary series ‘Handwerkskunst’ (Craftsmanship) accompanied the mosaic work on the ‘Medusentanz’ (Medusa Dance) art-in-architecture commission at the Carl Orff Special School in Neuwied-Engers. Four days of filming took place at the Altleiningen art workshop and two more days during installation at the local swimming pool.

Broadcasting began on 3 June 2025, first on YouTube and later in the SWR media library.
